Curriculum Features

Course Design

The school prepares the curriculum in accordance with the Education Bureau’s pre-school education curriculum guidelines to cater for children’s development and needs. It is a child-oriented curriculum and uses children’s life stories as the focus and purpose of teaching to inspire children's ability to think, explore, solve problems and create. With community activities, visits, site visits, competitions etc., children can construct knowledge from actual experiences, develop the potential of multiple intelligences, cultivate an active and exploratory learning spirit, and develop creative problem-solving abilities.

 

Assessment method

The school adopts continuous assessment methods. Through observation, games, face-to-face interviews, etc., We assess the development of children in the following six areas, including physical fitness and health, individual and society, language, early childhood mathematics, science and technology, and art.

 

School activities

In order to meet the interests and needs of children, the school designs different learning activities and arranges children to engage in diversified group learning, own choice activities and extracurricular visits. Children can gain experience from observation, experimenting, and practice, and build up confidence and self-learning activity.

 

Extracurricular Activities

Aside from courses, the school has established an extra-curricular activity-Happy Bee Programme, which caters for the development of children from 4 to 6 years old and lets them learn from various interesting and meaningful activities. It lays a foundation for cultivating children to become responsible global citizens.

 

Home-school cooperation

To help parents facilitate children to grow and learn effectively, the school has different parent-child education, parent-child design competitions, parent-child picnic, parent-child reading plan, observation of lessons custom and visit assistance activities for parents, etc. These activities help promote parent-child relationship and establish a harmonious partnership with the school.
